Description
Concept suggested by V. to illustrate a song by his band. The song tells the story of a man who murdered his wife and threw her body into a river. But the ghost of the wife remained and kept on haunting the man's conscience.I have transposed the story to 19th century, hope you like it

I was looking through your slide show and saw this. I am very impressed with the way you have defined her as a ghost. She is not transparent, yet one can not mistake her for any thing other than the spirit of the woman, rather than the woman herself.

This has to be one of my favourite's of yours but it could just be I have a soft spot of a little morbid mixed with victorian style. I really like this image the only critique I would suggest is I thought that both characters would look a little more menacing rather forlorn, esp as he's a murderer and she's haunting him as revenge. However, that is jus to fit with the story more but otherwise as an image it is really amazing!
