Description Hello,

This is a big ice piece found ashore on the Jokulsarlon beach in Iceland . This picture is from July, 2009 . I've removed some color saturation and cropped the image close to the square idea .


technically 30 seconds to have the sea & sky with a more abstract touch .

here are some other pictures from the same serie ,
this was a really stunning night atmosphere ..

Very good work you did with the tones.
Really "ethereal". Especially the sky and the sea in contrast with the super sharpen block of ice.

Whoa! It looks like an alien spaceship! Kinda. Just from my perception.
Like, the bottom part would be the wings, and then the knobby bit on top is the bridge, or something.

The colors make the cold almost tangible. Beautiful composition, and the lines of each shape really...floe...bahahahaha! I'm sorry, I couldn't resist such a horrible pun...oh dear.
