In the kARΓ collection, here is Windows Explorer !only in 32x32 px, made for the Windows 7 Superbar.

you can try to right click on the icon you wish to change, then go to "Properties", "Change Icons..." etc. The change may not appear directly, restarting explorer.exe should do it. I could also recommend to use 7Conifier :
Change your icons, save it inside 7Conifier, then apply it, and the change will be made that easily.
