The canine's fur bristled in some oncoming winds, bombarding her with sickly smells of the diseased, decaying, and the carrion that littered its city limits.

Unbeknown to most, ethereal creature would safeguard any who would care to partake within her proclaimed domain. Jaws gnashed against distilled feathers converging beneath scythe-like teeth--blank eyes stared at the crimson coated sky as its maleficent beak would nevermore croak the devil's cry. Thick visage jerked back, a step taken behind to accommodate weight as she threw the grisly meal over a protective fence, watching with smug satisfaction as the zombies grumbled at the smell of meat and dived for the fringe bird.
