I came across this notion today in a friendly discussion and it felt so familiar. I have never heard explicitly of the dark night of the soul but I knew intuitively that in order to be a better version you have to be first what you are not. There is no good in the absence of evil as there is no light in the absence of darkness.

My fearful part is afraid (ironic a bit) that I'm doing too little this period, that I'm not taking enough action whereas there is a voice inside of me telling me to just take things as they come and that things are enough.
I guess it's a time to reflect inwards, have faith, be still in appearance and prepare for what's about to come.

After the dark night (of the soul) I wish you all a very bright morning and a sunny day
