Wonderful colours, wonderful contrast. My focus is brought right to that glowing yellow eye! I'm crazy about the texture of the wood around the figure, and the looser green texture throughout the rest of the background. Exceptional piece overall!

I love the colors and how you show the depth of the hole the owl is sitting in. I also love the owl's expression, I wonder if its bored or just thinking about what to do.
