Here is my 40th fan art /key pose animation piece to the classic 1980's cartoon He-man and the Masters of the Universe, here featuring Triklops vs Roboto. I haven't touched masters in like a year and a half, I thought real hard one day and committed to what I thinks a cool idea,Triklops slashes with his sword, signals his drone to attack him , the drone 180's and bashes Roboto in the back sending him forward. Roboto manages to uppercut him, but Triklops turns his spin into an aerial attack with his optic blast.
Alot of fun,
I am shrinking the poses down these days (didn't manage to keep it small consistently but hey i will work on it), so instead of 4 panels per page its now 9 panels, thus more work gets done in less time, I'm happy with that.

not played that, i did see Derek Alexander's review of that and it looks like an underrated classic!
That maybe an invention from the 2000's series, Triklops had this little bird-like drone he'd send out on recon. just seemed to fit the sequence I had designed. thanks for asking, got me i the mood for watching that vid again

Naw,it's cool. The guy srsly knows his stuff and you're wondering why he's always tough as nails and no-nonsense and straight to the point..well,it's because most collectors are either babies or they're just full of it. I can see why he doesn't take it to heart,these collectors can get rowdy for the smallest of things. Same thing with Bobby Skullface. They warned them to choose what they're buying but ppl keep on pushing.

Yeah Im super grateful for real people in the collecting community that say it like it is, protecting people from getting ripped off or buying into the hype. Since I don't have a huge collection of my own, just little bits here n there to represent my interests, i can live vicariously through these guys with huge collections, Dan Larson of Toy Galaxy's another one who gives you the real talk n what was going on behind the scenes but still keeps that child like wonderment of Yay this thing is super awesome going at the same time. Helps not have to have a complete collection here and there when we got these guys ^_^

That's what I like about the 3 of them. Toy Galaxy is more approachable,a guy who is like an interesting teacher but knows how to have fun like all of us,retroblasting is a serious retro collector who points out the problems of cartoons that toylines are accompanied with and narrows down if the toyline is good or not as you remembered. Toy Galaxy is a modern toy collector who feels the need to point out what 3rd parties are doing and if Takara can walk the walk compared to its competition.
In short,Toy Galaxy is like the childlike friend with lots of cool tapes while retroblasting and Bobby Skullface are like the mindful parents. XD

Hey I love seeing your MOTU action. My favorite bit has to be Tri-Klops's mid-air optic blast. Pure epic. I also love the design choices you used for both of them. By chance, do you collect the Classics figures too?

i did used to have alot of the original 80's line (prolly still got some up in my attic), I had alot of the 2002 line, they were cool, I been meaning to buy a He-man and skeletor from the classics line just never got around to it. I have been watching the New adventures series, i like most people wrote it off back i the day but its actually very enjoyable and well written. I do so love seeing custom characters and when they've come up with a back story its very interesting to read.

Nice. Never owned any of the vintage figures, though accidentally got some from an online seller, got a refund and all that so I no longer have them. 
I'll be uploading some photos of the customs soon, finally finished the second one. I also wrote a bio for both of them so they could 'fit' into the Masters of the Universe. I have a third nearing complete now and just got a hold of two more figures I'll be turning into more customs with. Ha ha, a lot of fun to be had with these figures.
I already love how you draw, I know I'll love it. I'm still going to draw a reference sheet for the characters, personal preference. It helps me a touch should I get around to drawing them myself.
