Description
This was crazy to make.
First, I painted the cat and string lights on the canvas.
Next, I took a lovely purple scarf and cut it up and sewed it using needle and thread into the canvas to make it look like the cat was sitting on the soft fabric.
I glued a large shiny gem and leather straps at its neck to make a fancy collar.
Then I took a string of purple led lights and affixed them to the edges of the canvas, strung them behind the canvas and pushed the bulbs through little holes to line up with the painted-on string lights. Applied gorilla glue at their base to keep them permanently in place.
Lastly, I spliced the end of the lights to shorten them up, so only exactly the lights needed were left along with a 3-foot cord to reach whatever outlet its next to.
