Now I am sitting here trying to study how you drew all this and finding new coloring methods... looking at wrinkles and seeing how you draw them and trying to figure out how you get things to look so relaxed. I have a hard time trying to get this figured out and my time seems to be dwindling with my motivation...... Wow that sounded way more depressing than I wanted that too but its true...

well for one I always do a rough red sketch first where sketch out the poses and make sure the dimensions are right before I do any details so when I do the second blue sketch over that I can be a little more scribbly because the base is already there. Also body language is key when drawing like here for example both characters have very relaxed poses and a big part of that is how neither are sitting straight upright, Riku is hunched over slightly and Alex is leaning forward and resting on the table. You should take some time out to look up articals on body language sometime.

Ok thanks I did notice that when I saw your video last night (mentioning me and I am like.... I wish I was actually there). I usually just go blue lines then trace over with black on a new layer to clean things up and then color (if I am going to color otherwise just add shading for black and white images).

don't be afraid to draw over something 3 or 4 times if need be, sometimes I have to do that myself when the pose is really complicated

I personally love to mix candy canes in with hot chocolate ^^ so yeah
