Ok the first thing I thought of of this picture was...
"WTF?"
anyways, as much as the shock value is in this, I like the "mother theme". The breast there and the egg in the womb effect is wonderful. and again, as with many of your current pieces, I like the bone effect.
I bet she'll be an extraordinary mom.

Hah, this totally reminds me of the vagina dentata (toothed vagina) concept that appears in the myths of several cultures that I learned about in my 20th century art history class today, like the American Indian one of "A meat-eating fish inhabits the vagina of the Terrible Mother; the hero is the man who overcomes the Terrible Mother, breaks the teeth out of her vagina, and so makes her a woman." Intriguing.
Did you know about that concept before? I had never heard of it before today in my class.

Thank you. Yes, I know about that myth. Some brazilian indian tribes believe in piranhas (pirhanas?) inhabiting the vagina of virgins. The hero is the husband who asked a monkey to have intercourse with her. When he got knew that the piranha was dead, he has sexual relations with his wife himself.
Coincidence or not, we use to call prostitutes here piranhas.
