Interesting features, Alex. I especially like what you did with her eyes and nose, which gives her a unique look.

Thank you kindly for comment and favourite, Laspe.

I have to admit, it isn’t much I did to her features other than applying Anagenessis 2 skin shaders and tweaking the translucency color of some body parts.

The hard work was with striving for her hair to look more glowing and shiny through the lighting where I did some trial and error with her hair shaders.
I learned something about translucency, sub surface shaders, glossy inputs and cut out opacity.
Finally I didn’t achieve, what I wanted to, but found some useful new knowledge along the way.

You are welcome, Alex!
With regards to the hair what I do is add refraction weight 50 - 75% and then add a diffuse map (not necessarily the same color is in diffuse channel) to refraction color channel. There was an older thread on DAZ Forums, in case you haven't seen it: www.daz3d.com/forums/discussio…
I meant the shape of her eyes and nose when I mentioned features.

Thanks for that link.
I just found time to scan the contents, but it looks very helpful.

Back in range of my computer now I will try and see what I’ll achive following your tip.

And on the features, it’s the way the character is shaped per “production-line”.

Thank you kindly for your comment and the favourite, Ronnie.

I’d been striving to get close to the effect, I saw recently in an image had linked to in one of her journals.

It was much more complicated than I thought and I don’t think, I even got near.
But she’s a beauty nonetheless.

You achieved something different, which is more valid artistically than reproducing the other effect. Though I understand being able to reproduce it is a useful technical exercise. Anyway, I like them both equally.

A long time a go, I attempted a similar effect with a camera and, of all things, a Barbie doll. Berni 06

Thank you for the encouragement.

But you’re right. Even not being able to reproduce showed me useful tricks.

I looked at your doll-works.
It must have been a hell of a job to create all those scenarios.

It could be. The advantage you have is your models don't fall over just as you're ready to take the shot. Dolls go down like dominoes.

She seems to have an interesting line of thinking... Or appraising...

You’re right. One could gain the impression.

In fact I’ve been desultorily trying to give her an expression different from the regular look straight into the camera.

I’d put the focus on recreating some kind of glowing-red-hair effect, just like in that image you linked to in one of your journals.
As you see, even after days of hard labor, not really getting there.

But thank you kindly for the comment and the favourite.

A new one. Hihi.

You might not believe me, but I’m not trying to establish a Harem.

Thank you for your comment, Chuck.

It took me more than a week to get the image to this state, and it’s  still not, how I want it to be.
Learning by doing.
