"Splinter of the minds eye" was a possible sequel idea for the original movie. There's not doubt that Luke and Leia were NOT brother and sister at that point.
"Before the storm" follows the original trilogy but before there was any thought given to prequels. Luke has to find his mothers people. This is before they created Padme....or Jar Jar.
