Forget Hel/Hela. Lady Loki was here first even before Angerboda came into the picture. For the record, Angerboda is the Jotun mother of Hela, Fenrir and Jormangandr in the original Norse myths. Nope Marvel, Hela is Loki's DAUGHTER and not Thor's bastard sister, a la Morgan le Fay in some interpretations of Arthurian myth.

Oh, I know. I picked up a couple books about the Aesir a few years back, really good stuff. I haven't even had a moment to see Ragnarok yet, just too busy!

Me too. I wanted to see it close to Thanksgiving and didn't get the chance to. And I can't watch Ragnarok until my parents have seen Captain America: Civil War (need to see this), Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Thor: Dark World.
