Always, such detail. The subtle way you interpret and portray, even old ideas, reinventing them in such a unique way. I love it, such spectacular elegance without ever being over the top or in your face. Simply sublime. Lovely foreshortening on her arm, by the way.
Little idea for you to try if you like- perhaps adding a very light scuff to the bottom of his shoe (not the heal, the bottom) for a little texture right where the slope of the arch meets the front of the sole- that's usually the first part to get scuffed (at least that I've noticed on my father's shoes).
You could also tinker with a slightly bolder shadow on the bottom of her arm that's lifted, though it's tricky, with all the various light sources.
