Decided it was time to draw these two hugging! I actually have this silly idea of Pinkie returning to Ponyville after a long tour of party-planning across Equestria in an early episode of my hypothetical sequel series to visit Twilight, Flurry, and Spike, and rather than hugging Spike, she tackles him to the ground and gives him "raspberries" on his big belly. That idea does sound very cute. Even though Spike is much older, something about him responding that way would be so in character with him, even if he doesn't want to admit he is still a bit of a child.
But this picture is still cute none the less.

I like to think Spike is probably still in his teens in this, but that he (much like myself) is still quite a kid at heart and likes to make jokes and collect comics and stuff. :3
