YAAAAAAY, IT'S FINALLY DONE!!!

Since it's technically still summer, I had to finish this up before September rolls around. Had it planned all summer just never got to it till now.

So it seems the ponies sure are enjoying the beach ... if Equestria has any beaches that is. If not, they must've went to lands unknown out there. Rainbow Dash is juggling her ball, AJ and Twilight are playing volleyball, Pinkie's letting Fluttershy bury her in the sand, Gummy and Angel are being themselves, and Spike's shading Rarity and enjoying it! And no swimsuits here this time either, who needs swimsuits?!? What? They're ponies!

This was quite a big picture to be working on! Not just in terms of size, but layers! Most layers have 2 characters in it and Twi and AJ are part of the sandy background with the palm tree. I love how this turned out though! This is one of the most detailed pony pics I've made yet! The shading on Rarity was hard to figure out how to do, but I did it! I also managed to make the volleyball more 3D but Dash's beach ball only has a shine, I couldn't figure out how to do a shading with all those colors. And as usual, I have shadows underneath them too, but there's also one under the volleyball and behind the tree. Through doing these, I learned a thing or two about Paint.net!

I also added in Gummy and Angel at the last minute cuz that area in the middle was boring. Angel looks hardcore with sunglasses on!

And sorry for the ugly URL on the bottom. Oh well, tis one of the many strategies of a cautious artist.

The characters, sand, and tree were drawn in Paint, and everything else along with the effects were edited in Paint.net
