I don't remember what knee twitch means but twitchy tail is the one that means something will fall.

Regarding alpha-channel and the other things visible underneath it: The issue is it never clears the previous frame. I'm not sure how GIFs work, nor the specific software you're using, but if you can somehow trigger a full redraw on each frame then a transparent background should work just fine.

Don't worry, I've already figured it out as you can see with my newer GIFs.

That happens to me, too!
I think it's fast, but I upload it and it's slow.

her tail does a full up and down motion about twice a second. don't know if thats what you wanted but it does seem slow.
I use Gimp 2.8 when I make .gifs its a free program and works really well.

Yeah, I dunno what happened, that's not what it was doing when I played it on my computer. It was also faster on my computer than it is now on DA.
I have that but I didn't know how to do it until someone told me below...

lol ok. definitely I'd say use gimp for animations. though if anything has a gradient there are a few extra steps to take because Gimp tends to turn gradients into color steps, not a true gradient.

I think what I'll do is make them in whatever program I so desire and then put them all together in Gimp.

Thats what I've always done. vector first in Inkscape then assemble in Gimp.

It is only 5 frames, not a movie, it's not meant to be stared at.

You know, I think Pinkie's tail twitches all the time. Because things "fall from the sky" all the time.
