I have been putting him off for about a week now but I'm back in the saddle to finish this guy.

I worked on his head, batwing, and outer clay layer of his snake body today. The head was sculpted with Fimo Puppen clay and the mane, eyebrows, and beard were done with apoxie sculpt and are still hardening as we speak. The body was done with some translucent Sculpey III clay and you cant see the wing but right now it's only the frame of the wing done in apoxie and I'll get the skin flap part done tomorrow hopefully. I also have the 'feather' part of the end of his brownish snake body done in apoxie and the lower part of his neck so that it sits nicely on top. The head is a bit big and clunky and was leaning back too much at first but I was able to bend the connection point in while the apoxie was curing so I have no fear of him being too unstable though he does kinda lean to his right a bit too much. I'm not too annoyed by his head looking too big now that the snake body is thicker but I hope by the time the sculpt is done he'll still be able to stand ok.
