Just a little "motivational" poster that I did on ICanHasCheezburger.com a while back. I wasn't really sure what category to put it under, but I wanted to post it here. Hopefully, a few of you will get some laughs out of it.

A short explanation for those of you who may not understand. The guy (yes, it is a GUY) in the picture is the vocalist for the JRock band, Dir En Grey. Kyo can be found on Wikipedia, as can Dir En Grey, which is also found on MySpace and Facebook, as well as a few other places.

JRock, or, rather, visual kei started up in the 1980's, 1982 to be exact, when the legendary band, X Japan, got their start. Those of you familiar with JRock will know who Yoshiki Hayashi (drummer/pianist/composer/lyricist of X Japan) is. However, the roots of visual kei are truly unknown, and many argue that visual kei started sometime in the 60's or 70's. Despite all this, X Japan is the band that truly got visual kei started. For a reference as to what visual kei truly is, I suggest you do a Google image search on Malice Mizer, Mix Speaker's Inc, or Versailles Philharmonic Quintet.
