I was slightly disappointed with this one, likely because I had just come from an awesome team battle, and a stealth segment where the person on the mic is both rooting for you and your death.
This felt like a bit of a letdown in comparison.

I don't blame him. His parents were shot all because (depending on the story) they didn't give the man the pearls.

The senselessness of their murders was such a good facet of Batman's backstory. Not that the Napier version in the '89 film isn't enjoyable, but having it just be Joe Chill, a random thug, robs Bruce of an easy way out. There's no one big villain to blame for what happened to him. Even after dealing with Chill, there are way worse people to fight, and always will be.

Well, maybe she didn't think of the pearls? Β I mean, they're an everyday item to her. Β The one I saw didn't have her object to handing over the pearls, she just...forgot. Β And the mugger got impatient and shot the pair.
