Gotta get this comic ready for the printerβs. Five whole chapters of gratuitous violence and literary criticism. Just how I like it.
Disappointed with the cover, but it's good to have it done. I wanted it to have a sort of Bantam/Penguin/cheap paperback classic sort of look to it, and I feel like I accomplished that, at least.
Also the text on Henry and Edward's silhouettes is from Stevenson's actual manuscripts. Because SOMETHING here has to conform to canon, damnit.

Thanks, and especially for not being too scared to give a little crit! The whole layout bothers me; I wish I'd been able to structure it better. The left side is too heavy; I don't think the pile of papers adds enough weight to the right side. And all that empty space in the middle needs something, but I couldn't figure out what. D:

The empty space is okay, no worries. It emphasizes the characters. 
Maybe the left would look better if Anna & Susan were switched around, as the smoke (from the potion) adds to that side too.

I picked Sire as a title back when it was just a short comic for class. I never stopped to check if the title would infer anything to a broader audience, and so I forgot the fact that a Sire is also the term for a vampire who creates another vampire. So if I don't toss books all over the place, people tend to assume that it's a vampire story.

They can be, but I'm pretty sure Sire tops just about every vampire story I've read.Β Except maybe Mortifer, but that wasn't just a vampire story.
