Apparently, complementary materials revealed that she was bullied for being too ordinary, so when she gained SOMETHING that set her apart, she just threw herself into the persona of Celestia Ludenberg.
Doesn't excuse what she did, but it at least makes it less shallow.

I got the feeling there was more to her. I still feel that she was the most evil of the first game cast (ish. You know what I mean), but the point is that the game is binding out the worst, most desperate sides of all of them.
And do you know where you heard that? I'd love to read it. I've got the gigantic DR 1&2 art book, but I sadly don't read Japanese, so I'm always looking for translations for that, too.

Dark and red, a rather thematic combination. ...At least I hope it's red. My eyes and colors never get along well. It certainly has a bit of a grim feel to it, which is cool.

Thanks! Celeste has a whole goth-loli thing going on, so this is an extension of that. And you're right, it is red!
