Back in high school, I remember how I used to think pop art isn't art... I used to think of it as something colorful and cool looking, but without any deep meaning. I used to be a gatekeeper of what I like, criticizing everyone who doesn't think like me... And it was very dumb of me to gatekeep something subjective. Art doesn't have to have a direct meaning all the time anyway. Each of us can have our own interpretation regarding an artwork. Each of us can have our own views on art. They are not right or wrong, art is subjective. Beauty is subjective. Don't be a gatekeeper, let people have their own opinion! We can do better than that!
