Amazing how you captured the world as gone to ruinings but you kept the world hope alive of how the only thing the man wanted to do was see balloons fly off in the air so that he may remember his life before

Why do i get the feeling the balloons are blood? With what happened to Snippy after he got caught, then Snippys little 'is this real?' interlude, then back to the present, then Pilot getting caught, then Pilots brain scan interlude, then....
