That comment makes me unsure...you know that's an actual gas mask that an actual person is actually wearing there right? He modded it to have the blue lenses and such, but it's a real gas mask first and foremost.

yeah, he uses actual people to make the characters. photographs them in front of a green screen and then shops them into the image along with whatever small changes might need to be made to their persons. Of course this doesn't hold true for the numerous guest artist strips included in the series, but Alexiuss works with actual models when he does strips. It's the interesting art style that's generated by this practice that drew me into the comic to begin with.

I have all of them saved and set on a timer, so mine automatically switches every hour, though sometimes if I'm not "feeling" one I'll manually flip through them. :>

cycling through 53 of them, 30 seconds each, so every time I look I'm greeted with a new awesome RA scene. Discovering the slideshow option is the most wonderful thing that has happened to my desktop ever.
