Wow, I definitely prefer this kind of 'emo'. The 'emos' today are nothing like this, they're like strange goth impersonators or something o.O
The styles here look more like what's now referred to as 'indie', so as you said, a lot of people might not even think that this look was what used to be called 'emo' =/
I used to get called an 'emo' at school, but one of today's type pf 'emos', like as an insult, people thinking I self-harmed just 'cause I wore a lot of black, and wasn't even trying to be that kind of 'emo'. I don't like how the 'emos' now give like a bad impression for anyone that looks a tiny bit like that style >.<

Ah, I remember this.
Back in the good days of emo, when raiding thrift stores, looking unique and listening to good music got you labelled, rather than looking like a morbid little clone.
Not bashing modern emos though. I hang out with too many to hold a grudge.

This is why emo doesn't make sense to me, goths wear black, goths had the whole black thing down packed way before emos did. Its funny, the ones that call themselves emo dress like goths but act all weird.... Well, weird relative to a goth perspective. Scene kids sounds like a good way to describe them.

# i totally agree with you these days what people think are 'emos' are actually just scene kids.

dear god... So it looked three years ago .. hmm I'd been alway like that, as child I heard indie bands, I was dressed like that... and they just had called me geek ... I do not care anyways .. but I just weare clothes I like at the moment , I usually had brown hair but i allways loved the black hair of my mother so I wanted them to have black to I had dye them black ^^ and now I am called emo from all sides.. most from gangsters who do not really know whats the meaning of emo is and who is an "emo" (!) I am thinking there is no one who could called be emo, thats not even a real word!
emo is just a music style .. but i adore this style.. sometimes i really need some noise to scream out my feelings and then go and drink glasses of water because i got Sore throats xD lol this had to be said !
still its very intresting to see how "emo" was like ... i'd never seen something like this before.
still very nice you had put it in

yeah most of the time there's more than a thousand pages if not books for every photograph.
it's amazing how a simple story can entertain someone and it branches out form a singel photo that they saw like newspapers for instance.
thanks for the comment it's nice to know that someone finally though about what i said or even read it it's hasn't been happening very much lately i wish more people would tell me what they think of my writing or stories more often.

sometimes fun to make fun of but yeah that was emo a few years ago now it's indie which i think is a better term for the way people like that look like than emo, emos are just a bad impersonation of goth

yeah so do i mostly because i was that before it was called emo and i looked like that. now it;s something that is s really stupid name for depressed or not depressed just clumping them together as a group, personally i think stereotypes are lame and stupid and a reason for them to make the person seem less human which makes it easier to make fun of them.

i'm just glad i'm not the only person out there who wishes that it never was called emo and when it first was that's what it was and it wasn't really something to be ashamed or mad about but now it is.
