Another art trade withThe prompt was "Taking in account that the other day you told me that you ship Gildadash, I'd LOVE to see some. Nothing perverted, just them chilling would be awesome. I'd love to see your humanized!Gilda."
So I was really excited, because I really love Gilda, even though she's a monstrous asshole. And Gilda is the ONLY thing I like about Rainbow Dash. Otherwise I pretty much hate her character.
I'm very proud of this. I kind of derped on the background, and just went with whatever. I'm sorry the background is so lame!
I'm really in love with my version of human!Gilda. Just gonna put that out there. She's SERIOUSLY hot.

Aiee, casual punk-butch human ponies and gryphons are best! I find your cannon cute & interesting compared to mine. I love more ... distinct facial features in women rather than just being pretty, if that makes any sense. I love the plugs in Dash's ears and the great pose, and the use of the wings. The blades are great too. I could totally see this as a teeshirt.
And I agree, your human!Gilda is tres hot. I actually wasn't a big Gilda fan until I kept seeing these outrageously hot badass human versions. It seriously helped her grow on me. I also like butch/butch pairings, which are pretty uncommon in general BUT Dash/Gilda fanart gives me in spades.
Weirdly enough, my Dash is mixed NA as well, though via Central America.
I find it funny what traits your image matches with mine, like the wraps, and the strong hook nose. It's always cool to see how people translate these characters into humans.

I just might draw more of her. I'm really glad you enjoy my Gilda as much as I enjoyed yours! I think if I draw her again, I'll make her nose even more pronounced. Hook noses make me sploosh like you wouldn't believe. I think they are unbelievably hot.
I feel the same way, I didn't like Gilda until I saw her humanized. They I was like, "Oh, damn girl."

No, I pretty much hate Rainbow Dash. She's arrogant, thinks she's better than everyone when she's not, and despite the fact that her element is "loyalty" she teases her friends more than she ever sticks up for them. She's just really full of herself, and I don't like that one single bit. If I meet people like that in real life I'm repelled by them, so yeah, I hate her character.
And no, it's not wrong for guys to be into strong women.

I'm SO glad you're happy with this! I struggled with the background hardcore. I feel like it looks stupid.
I'm pretty in love with my Gilda too. I LOVE strong, butch women. They're so domineering and powerful. And she in particular is incredible sexy, I think. It might be the flexed arm, it might be the muscle tank, it might be the eye makeup or the facial piercings, I don't think I can narrow it down to just one thing about her. I would go straight for a woman like that.
Unfortunately, she's a lesbian and interested in my Native American dashie. I'm really fond of this version of RD, I think she looks pretty good. I added that design to her hoodie that isn't normally there, and I really like it. And I like the idea of her being in roller derby. I think it's the PERFECT sport for her.
Do you have a favorite detail? Because I'm pretty personally proud of the fact that I had the laces actually weaving in and out of the eyelets in this picture. I normally don't bother! There was a lot of careful layering and erasing there!
I'm also proud of translating her golden bird feet into athletic wraps for her hands. Who gives a fuck if her bandages are woven out of gold!

I was going to talk about the wraps. At first I was like 'HDAJKDHJ GOOOOOOLD' but then something clicked in me and I just....fangirled. Hardcore. I also love the idea of Dashie being both Native American AND in Roller derby. (Actually, that's one thing in general that I love about you. You give each of them different racial backgrounds. I just fucking LOVE THAT. I hate it when I see people make them all one race and one body type. I mean, THAT'S NOT HOW THE WORLD WORKS. EVERYONE IS A DIFFERENT BUILD AND PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT.) IT'S JUST THE PERFECT THING FOR HER.
As for the charcoal, I've been working with it most of my life actually. I mean, heck, you've seen some of my older work! All in charcoal! And I've found that I miss it and I want to get back into doing it! Not all the time, but just from time to time doing stuff with it. And I have an AMAZING IDEA for my half of the trade. (By the way, if you'd ever like to do ANY trade at all, I'll be more than willing! I enjoy them greatly! Same goes for collabs! If you have anything that you'd like me to colour, I'd be more than glad to! I've said it before and I'll say it again, you're way of anatomy just makes me all melty inside

I took a bit of a break to explore some other fandoms and just....try and get my love for it back, you know? For awhile I was kinda loosing my love for it and I just needed a bit of a break to get it back. And it did! WITH FULL FORCE. I really love the star tattoos on her. They just suit her so god damn well. Besides, I love my women with plenty of tattoos. It's just another thing that turns me on like no tomorrow. I'd love to get one or two myself. I'm thinking of a cherry blossom tree going up my side. I've always been found of that idea. And HNNNNGH YES. I freaking LOVE them. In my eyes, she's the hottest out of them all. (Even surpassing Rarity or Fluttershy from time to time)
And of course I approve! I TOTALLY see her as a smoker (If you look in my rough sketch of her, you'll see I have her smoking.) I'm not a huge fan of it in real life either. But yeah, in cartoons-especially with someone like Gilda- it IS sexy as hell.
