Probably everyone knows the story "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" by E.T.A. Hoffmann. So this is my alternative version of it.I messed up a little bit with a backround. I didn't want to use snow or rain, because I did it already thousand times. So I just left it blank and I think it bring more sadness to picture.

The Nutcracker was one of my faw stories when I was a kid. I love what you did with an idea. Now I can imagine how I would feel if I ever come across the nutcracker doll that look like this. Still, there is a bit of sadness in this piece, and it gives it another dimension of what 'love' truely means.

I think that u are right about the background, if you made it more detailed it would have attracted more attention that the main character itself. It's a good thing you decided to leave it as it is.
