I know he was a bastard,but David makes him look so beautiful...although even his scarred face betrays his character

Thank you very much for your kind words and support marat was a little bit bad guy, sending to guillotine many people during the french revolution,but in this portrait he looks so serene almost like a supernatural being...anyway, eversince i saw "the power of art-David" this painting has been in my mind
