I wonder, did you drawΒ the buildings in the background on your own or were they made with special brush shapes?
And what are your brush settings? (: Do you work with opacity and flow, or do you check on the Transfer-mode or..?

This is looking very good! I think if you blurred the city below and put a paint filter of some kind onto it then that may help. Just my opinion. Nice work though!
