Description
A new piece for my upcoming art show 'Signs of Life' in Los Angeles( December). I've immersed myself in traditional media, using inks and acrylics mainly and taking a break from digital( though these will all be experimented on in PS eventually
Combining my love and fascination for Giger, Android Jones, Art Nouveau, creature design, horror, Art Deco along with the dark whimsical aesthetic inspired by Tim Burton, Guillermo del Toro, and Dr. Seuss.
This new series is mostly abstract, such as this one...and meant to look aesthetically pleasing at any rotated angle. What is it? I have no idea

And finally I know of what the pattern reminded me. It's the nautilus' pattern, althought more feral and together with your forms...
You did some "Alien" works too I see, but this here looks like the aquatic uncle.
Just imagine it.
Somewhere in the deep recesses of space is a planet, a planet deemed worthy of being seeded by the Yautia for hunting, not knowing that the planet in all that time they not visited undergone a climate change as a dwarf planet made of ice and water crashes into it. Not only moving it farther towards the sun, but also exploding the already aquatic lifeforce.
And so time happens.
When the Yautia finally come around to visit after seeding the planet, they are not only surprised to see a water planet, but also one teeming with life NOT being Xenomorphs.
They find the reason in a gigantic mollusk variant that not only can regrow limbs and has natural camouflage abilities, but is imune to the Xenomorphs acid AND its way to procreate by "-hugger".
Said mollusk literally eats Xenomorphs for breakfast.
