Wow.. this is like.. a psychedelic take of H.R. Giger's Alien designs. At least that's what it looks to me, heh. Really cool, though!

It reminds me of Andrew Jones's "Adam and Eve" image. And I don't think mimicking his style is a bad thing, it's a style that needs a lot of knowledge of art beforehand to pull off a good piece.

Great composition and flow in this piece. I love the colors you used, and the translucent flesh looks so cool. Wonderful piece!

It's interesting how I can see several layers, almost. There is turmoil, beauty, almost anger... It feels like it represents a person. Great work!

Twisted, yet strangely compelling. I've never heard of the other guy, so I can make no comparison...but this style of work is very thought-provoking. Outside the box is always good.

|D Uh oh that was me, wasn't it? But I meant that in a good way, and I adore the style.

I don't know that artist, but by all means, you still have an awesome art style. And no one's art is exactly the same; even people who are working on a movie project have different styles and you can slightly notice when one artist worked on one part and another worked on another. Unless it's 2 person drawing 1 panel and then another person drawing the next back and forth. But if its a person for a specific time period, then it's noticeable usually.

people are forgetting he taught this style at a workshop, which means he intends people to use it. This is a great way to apply what he taught in his demo.
Just curious though, did you use zbrush at all or did you use photoshop path to do the black shapes?

People can say whatever they want. It takes pure skill to work like he does, and you seem to be pulling it off with flare! Great work

Very cool, exquisite color and design. Curious, have you heard of Andrew 'ANDROID' Jones the artist?
