Haha ^^ creepy word.
It's a word for asimple job: But, hey! we're german, why easy when and be so complicated: So it included also the river, the ship, the company and what it does and the job itself.

But this is the longest german word:
Donaudampfschifffahrtselektrizitätenhauptbetriebswerkbauunterbeamtengesellschaft

AlexServantes In reply to Waldmaer [2010-03-02 14:53:57 +0000 UTC]

That's rather old adjective describing someone looking through very important documents. Or something like that^^

It probably sounds like DJ thing: "f-f-fahrt, yo"

Waldmaer In reply to AlexServantes [2010-03-02 15:52:55 +0000 UTC]

AlexServantes In reply to konijnemans [2010-03-02 11:37:50 +0000 UTC]

Bub, elf and comrade...they should start a sitcom with that title!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

konijnemans In reply to AlexServantes [2010-03-02 14:05:19 +0000 UTC]

It would be a smash hit. If they could find the right actors, of course.

AlexServantes In reply to konijnemans [2010-03-02 14:10:06 +0000 UTC]

They should ask Cumming and Jackman about their free time. But I really hope that in sitcom version NC would be fuzzy without that tatoo thingies^^
(I don't remember who played Pyotr in movies, but he was rather handsome:3)

konijnemans In reply to AlexServantes [2010-03-02 14:18:25 +0000 UTC]

Too bad the Piotr actor didn't get that much screen time, I can't even remember if/how he did a Russian accent

And I'd prefer no tats too, but apparently those are needed to make the make-up look more natural, adding texture. But still. No tattoo thingies plz.

AlexServantes In reply to konijnemans [2010-03-02 14:50:02 +0000 UTC]

I remember Wolvie telling him to take children out and Pyotr was like "Dah" and turning into metal. Russian accent and words actually are killing me. After "boy-baba" in Uncanny I'm like all the time.

No, Alan suggested tattoes himself according to his X-men2 interview. Creators didn't want that stuff and I think skin would be okay without them.^^

konijnemans In reply to AlexServantes [2010-03-02 19:51:40 +0000 UTC]

Haha, I'll imagine the Russian accents must be hilarious to you. I speak Dutch, so German's close enough to have me frown/laugh when random expressions pop up.

And I didn't know that The more you know, etc etc. Heard the texture theory somewhere and figured it made some sense.

AlexServantes In reply to konijnemans [2010-03-02 21:05:06 +0000 UTC]

Actually, I really love German and kinda learning it so Kurt in movies and series makes me laugh too:3
Ach!

Actual quote was: "I thought tattoes would be even better...I just didn't know that the will mean extra 2 hours to make-up". Whole make-up process was about 6 hours so poor Alan. D:
