Out of all my pictures, this probably took the longest to make so far. Part of this was due to the fact that I've been sick and the other was my experimentation with the background. This picture was actually inspired by the song "Applebuckin" by Aviators. I had been wanting to make a summer picture for a while and the result seemed pretty rewarding. I used "warm" colors for the trees and grass to add to the summer feel, along with the combination of a mild orange and purple sky. Overall, I just like how the background turned out. I also did some experimenting with Applejack 's pose. I admit that my poses are a bit static in general, but I'll probably be playing with that a bit more in my next few pictures.Applejack is a copyright of Lauren Faust and MLP is a copyright of Hasbro.
