Description
Here is the fifth revised Senya comic page! This one shows the first meeting of Senya and imperial trooper Emma. After some gentle encouragment, Emma joins the fray and actually landing a good punch (before quiclky being overpowered). The page ends on a cliff hanger, as the young trooper stumbles around the edge of the landing platform! (Gasp!) Some panels sizes where adjusted from the original page, but besides a few touch ups here and there nothing much was changed.Related content

Love how keen that Royal Guard is to push Emma back into the fight! Clearly she see's it as her role to guard the rear.

They have a rough introduction, with Emma getting a sucker punch in, only to need her own life saved moments later!
If they become besties it could make for a funny story.

Emma did well to get a hit on Senya. And I like how you can see that look of dismay on Senya's face in that last panel despite the image's size. Judging by the first page of this comic, Emma's in for quite a drop unless somebody lends a hand fast.

Once she realized how cowardly and clumsy this particular imperial was, Senya felt the strange urge to "do the right thing" and help.

I keep getting the feeling that Emma wasn't really meant to be an Imperial guard...I think you suggested how she caught some sergeant or officer's eye and had her assigned within easy reach. I've wondered how Imperials assign new recruits; maybe they have a technological Hogwart's Sorting Cap along with tests. Could be poor Emma was supposed to be armed with a spatula, not a sword.

That made me think of a funny montage of her failing at other jobs before ending up as a trooper! Maybe she was in the mess hall and spilled some food on a commanding officer? Or she was an orderly in the medical bay but kept clumsily hurting the patients. Maybe her assignment here was an "F you" to the captain, by a rival officer.

Now that would be a laugh. Maybe when Senya asks Emma how she of all people got to be a royal guard, poor Emma tells her. She spilled hot soup into an officer's lap or the cookies she baked--Alorians sure seem to like cookies-- put some officers in the sickbay with stomach aches. Then she was assigned to a medic ward. She made a battle-hardened guard scream while applying a simple bandage. Or whatever. And I really like that idea of Emma being sabotage between rivals: the guard captain demands some new warm bodies. Oh, she gets one, all right.

"I have sent you trooper Emma, a very promising young soldier! She will be an asset to your team, Captain Deava."

That would be great. Captain Deava watches horrified as Senya uses Emma as a shield and escapes. Lady Arian's weeping and screaming with rage and humiliation. The guard squad is now a groaning pile.
"I'm so getting paddled," she realizes.

Meanwhile her arch rival, Captain Sha-reen smiles and sips her glass of wine, upon hearing the news.
