Video tutorial!Hi all! I'll be in Manila on Jan 2nd-4th, attending the Magic: The Gathering Grand Prix and signing cards, selling prints and so on! I also had the honor of being asked to design the playmat for the event. Since it's right after new year's, I wanted something mystical, magical.
I alsooo FINALLY managed to record the process for an entire painting from start to finish and make a video tutorial!

Irgendwie ist dir dieses Bild so gar nciht gelungen, im vergleich mit den leistungen die du sonst an den Tag legst. Habe deinen kommentar schon gelesen, dass du's schnell gemacht hast, aber wenn du sowas verkaufen willst, dann solltest du es wirklcih besser ausarbeiten und bessere Qualität liefern, wie sonst auch.
Ich würde mehr für ein tutorial von dir zahlen, bei dem das endergebnis anständig aussieht und nicht so schnell dahingekritzelt :/ Klar, sowas zu produzieren bereitet viel arbeit, aber für ein tutorial wie dieses hier geld zu verlangen ist echt schon ein schlag ins gesicht von den leuten die dich watchen und deine bilder mögen.
Würde dir ans herz legen dein Konzept nochmal zu überdenken, mehr Qualität zu bieten und die extra zeit dann eben auf den Preis auszulegen. Und ich denke bei der Anzahl an leuten die es kaufen würden, ist diese extrazeit sicherlich nicht umsonst.

Sorry, I hope you won't find this offensive or anything but.. I really don't recognize you with this piece, It's so hard for me to believe you did this. I love the piece and everything, but compared to your other works the painting part is soo poorly done, it looks terribly rushed and careless. I was exited for the gumroad tutorial but now I don't think I'll purchase sorry..

that's fine. it's a test run. it's a fairly quick painting (10 hours total) and recording, editing, doing voice over, uploading etc is quite a lot of effort so i'm doing a simpler one first to see if the whole concept makes sense for me. if it turns out that it does, i'll put dedicated time aside to do a full blown one with a highly finished piece.
