this is dedicated to the animexx community [link] - it's where i started doing art 1.5 years ago, and it's the 100th picture i uploaded there.painted in photoshop, 2.5 hours, no ref.

He can't have an arrow in his back and still be left alive by an enemy
He shouldn't hold his sword this way, he is relaxed here and (?) saying good-bye
The girl's shoulders are a way too wide judging by hands placement

OMG. So beautiful. I'm amazed of the fact that this painting is so un-detailed, yet the mastery of colors, contrast, composition etc. creates a feeling of a complete and elaborate piece.

man... this piece is really overwhelming.... The thumbnail really threw me off. At first glance, i thought this woman was coming out to meet her man in happiness. but the expression on her face and the arrow. man, i almost shed a tear over this piece. its completely solid. You deserve a Daily Deviation on it by default.

this image touches my soul in so many ways...I can't explain, but...these two remind me of a couple of poems I wrote today ([link] and [link] if you have the time). It's interesting, since I saw this deviation a while ago and forgot. Today, I saw it again on =Mercuralis 's journal and it fits so well with what I wrote that...it left me speechless.
