Appalachiosaurus leg bone, Deinosuchus bite marks, which healed, proof it went after a live tyrannosaur.

Cool! What era? Were there any giant crocodiles known from late Maastrichtian Laramidia? Or Appalachia? I am writing a dinosaur story from that time and reasonable accuracy is wanted. And would you like to see me complete this picture? Thanks for the info!

No giant crocs in that period (Deinosuchus was already extinct)

Very Nice
I'd make a joke about tyrannosaurus tasteing like chicken, but that would be crony even for me.

Since rex came before chicken...chicken might taste like rex.

Nice piece. You have a very interesting technique. This almost looks like a fancy cave painting or a wood carving, as if some extremely talented primitive man witnessed the scene and decided to record it. I like it!

LOL It's not crazy, things like that probably use happen when they were still around. I think you did great putting life to a realistic subject.

Dunno! I doubt we can say for sure if there were no giant crocodilians alive in the North American Late Cretaceous. Purrusaurus lived well after the Cretaceous in South America and it would make a Sarcosuchus take a dirt road. While I DO try and be accurate, there is so much missing material, all I can do is try my best.
Unless I am doing a fantasy, like for my upcoming (I HOPE!!!!) Creationist dino project (along with another artist!), I do try and be accurate--no Allosaurus fragilis making time with an Alamosaurus for example--but there is just so far we can go. The giant croc/alligator in the pic uis pretty generic; a colossal croc of some kind. I infer their existence from what I know of the fossil record. Thus...THERE THEY ARE!!!!!! OUCH!!!!
