I don't watch the show but I've thought about this. I did see the clip where the walkers took down a horse. (If you think that's possible, walk up to a horse and try to bite it.) I live on a ranch and own horses and cattle. In real life, that horse would have re-killed those walkers. Seriously, horses, and cattle, for that matter, can easily kill an intelligent human. A stupid walker that doesn't even know how to watch out for hooves would be trampled. With the way their hide is, they'd also be hard to eat since they're so big and have thick skin.
In reality, a leather jacket would probably work as half-decent body armor against walkers. Humans don't have much jaw strength so it would be hard for a walker to get its teeth through a leather jacket, or any other sort of thick jacket.

Yeah, nothing human, dead or alive, can take on the power of a horse with their bare hands. A crowd, maybe. Despite all of the impossibilities, it's still a great show and they'll continue to get my viewer rating (and as long as they don't take Daryl away!).

Haha. Yeah, things like this want us to believe that they are 'extra strong' cause they be undead, or magical or something like that XD
In some cases it works, like in creatures we can't say how strong they are or not, cause they are not us. But last I checked, most zombies don't come with super powers.
