Description This is my second picture of my bat furrie, Lila. I decided to go with warm tones (to bring out the green of her eyes. They look really brilliant in the original, but the scanner kind of muted them. : P ) and a slightly more subtle shading scheme for this version. Her eyes are also more traditional than the stylized version in the other picture.

I ran out of room for her legs, which is the reason I could go no further down than her wings, but I really like the look so I'm not in the least disappointed with the results. My only fear is that I didn't quite manage to shade the folds in her clothes realistically...

Also, the orb in her hand is supposed to be a crystal ball, but I haven't yet figured out how to shade clear objects so it looks more like a large pearl than anything. And this time around she's wearing a winged scarab beetle pendant. Just because I love the way the Ancient Egyptians portrayed creatures (and eyes) and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to include something of theirs in my modest, modern drawing.
