Description
This is my first assigned art project of the new year, and I decided to devote it to my cat. He reflects my personality with uncanny precision. Which drives me insane. We each seem to know exactly how to get under the other's skin. *shakes her head*I do love him, though. He's my main man. *grins*
Done in Sharpie.

*laughs* Thanks, Jamie! I can't give you this one, though. It's kind of my portrait of my kitty (with the girl being a manifestation of how I feel about him) and so it has too much personal meaning. But I could do a picture of you and Rocky in the same style!

OH MY GOD! This picture is absolutely beautiful! I love the stylistic quality of it--the sharp contrast between the solid black and pale blue while combining the faces of the cat and yourself. It's amazing! And so mysterious looking as well. The expressions are also so enigmatic too; the solemn countenance of the cat and the sort of mysterious smile of the girl. (The girl's hair is also awesome; being formed with the stripes of blue and black...since it's next to the cat, it makes it seem more like a relation to a the cat's fur pattern. It's so neat!)

Yeah, this picture turned out wonderfully. How hard it is for me to believe that I've struggled with people up until this moment! But this picture just came together for me like a vision.
The expression of my little beastie was supposed to portray a feral nature. When he's outside, he's easy to mistake for a wild animal because he behaves like one. But, at the same time, I can see such innocence and sweetness in that same expression. His wide eyes always seem to show it.
And the girl isn't me directly so much as she's a symbol of how I feel about my four-legged friend. The striped pattern of her hair was supposed to resemble his stripes, and her eyes mimic his. Her expression is one of love as I understand it.
