Description or "All the Mistakes One Can Make"

1) I used a reference from the wonderfully kind This was real fun! And here I proportioned Jazz right - she has long legs and short body. Wasn't sure what to put on her so I sketched the breasts both in case I will need them high and in case I will need lower contours.

2) At first it wasn't that bad. I worked with hands and put the right hand lower that in step 1 but I completely ignored that the form should be different. Then I turned the left feet... And I don't know why I decided to turn the right leg so that the knee faced right. Unfortunately, "right" was not the right way. The left hand is also shaped unnaturally.

3) Absolutely ruined the face with outlines not accurate enough. Eyes appeared too far from each other, plus I added the eyelashes (why on earth did I have to add them right now???) and made them look even wider.

4) Just picking colors. It was fun too...

5) No comments.


The only thing I still like is her eyes. I somewhat got the idea.

Hah, the process isn't so bad. You're actually pretty good. Yeah, you need some more practice, but who the hell doesn't? (Okay so I could name a few people on DA who don't. . .but the majority of us do.)

totally great!!!
I like the colors and the shading^^

but with the left hand...you are showing too much of the hand...it has to be just the fingers!
but I cant find a fitting preference...the best is this

It's another pose. I referenced myself for the hand.
I had to bend Jasem's fingers on the hip - that's why it looks so out of place...

I had to in order tochack some things. Because I changed the pose from the ref, I needed to reference some things from my reflection.
