In loving memory of my budgie Pipo.I love you and I miss you.

Éste es un pequeño homenaje a mis pajaritos Pipo y Peluka que lamentablemente desaparecieron el día 21 de Mayo de 2009 ; mi maldito vecino les abrió la jaula y por ende de ahí volaron. De esto me enteré hasta después.
Los extraño mucho y pido que se encuentren bien.
Qué triste que en el mundo haya gente malvada que con el afán de herirte se desquite con tus mascotas, pero qué mas puedes esperar de un cobarde?
Ojalá hubiese leyes que protegieran los derechos de los animales en México, donde denunciar tales actos.

ah no, no era una herida, lo que pasa que un día se me ocurrió pintarle con un gloss rosa el copete, a los 3 días se le quitaba la pintura.
sí, extraño mucho a esos dos pajaritos, pero siempre los recordaré, que tmb es muy importante.

Oddly , one day when I came home their cage was empy, I really do not what happened

this happened and month and half ago.
We found out the neighbor next door opened their cage, that's why they flew away. I hope that man burns in hell.

I know there are messed up people out there, but it just pisses me off so much that someone would do such a thing. i hope there is such a thing as karma, because if there is, he's in for it.

yup, in most pet stores they have blue ones (well they look like my birds) and white.
I wanna buy a green one for the male I have, hope they get along!!
may I ask why you decided to gave your birds away? is it possible for you to go and visit 'em?
I gave some to my aunt and sometimes I stop by just to see them.

Yeah, you can ask. We gave Bebop and Tootsie away because we wanted them to be with other parakeets and we couldn't get anymore than two, and having more than two parakeets would have been really loud and we live in an apartment. So we thought it was best to give them to someone who had some other parakeets. Bebop and Tootsie were both female, and Tootsie would fight with Bebop. We tried separating them over and over again and all that kind of stuff and didn't work. On talkbudgies.com on the forum, they said it would be best to get two male budgies for them, but like i said, we couldn't get more budgies. anyway, the lady i gave them to had two male budgies and she said i could visit them whenever i wanted to. it's been almost three months since i gave them away.. but i still havent been able to visit them because she has been busy.. she had to move because of something that happened, but she didn't move that far away from where she had previously lived, and her family has been sick, so she brought them to her friends place for a while, and i'm not sure if she has gotten them back yet. but i do keep bugging on about visiting them.
we had decided we weren't going to get anymore birds and would wait to until we got a house. but, we talked it over and thought it would be nice to have one budgie that would bond with us. i really wanted that. well, we had him for over a week.. and i was really stressed. i felt like i couldn't do anything because i felt like i always had to be spending time with him. it was just all around stressful for me. and i was stressed that he would get lonely even if i spent time with him, because he doesn't have a budgie friend. so we gave him back to the petstore we got him from. it was a mistake to have gotten him, but i loved him a lot, and really miss him. and i hope he is doing okay. i wish i could have kept him but i was way too stressed and my anxiety was bad. we decided that we won't have birds ever again. just because, we get really stressed out when having them. i felt horrible for bringing piko back because i felt like i was a horrible person and felt bad that he had to go back. but it all was for the best.
and if you get another budgie, they should get along. just remember to quarantine.

I'm sure in the near future you'll be able to visit Bebop and Tootsie and I'm glad to hear the lady who has them is willing to let you visit them.
So it is definitive that you won't have any more birds.

You know what? I'm glad to know there's some else like me who also loves parakeets , I mean, when I told my cousin what happened to my 2 birds she was all like "get over it, they were just pets", we can't help but love those cuties.

The only way we would get birds (and it's not for sure we would at all.. could just be a future possibility) is if we had a house and made a really nice aviary where they could always be in it.. and of course.. it would be an inside aviary. But it would be made like how the birds would live in the wild. Tons of plants and stuff. Like a jungleish type aviary. but we would have like only finches in it. a bird that is really really simple and easy to take care of. a bird that you just enjoy for watching. If that makes sense. We won't ever have budgies again, or anything like that. I love budgies a lot. I love animals in general.
But I can't believe your cousin said that. they aren't just pets. they are living creatures, that think and feel. they are just like us, except not as smart. i don't know how someone could say such a thing.
