I lived this. Am living this since 2008. My car was our connection so when I am with the car I feel we are together. All the long nights we spent with our heads under the hood... This pic hits me in the feels.

I'm really happy to read that you're feeling like yourself again and continuing with your art. I know how you feel. I have been struggling with chronic pain for over a year now and no doctor has been able to diagnose it. I got so very depressed that I stopped working on my books and did not write anything new for almost a year.... (I normally have one new release every year or so, for context) I just didn't feel like it and had no motivation, due to all the pain and depression.
I am finally starting to get back to work and write again, and it has helped my depression a lot.
I'm really happy you're getting back to something you enjoy, too. I look forward to seeing more from you. Good luck and keep up the great work <3
