Idea Development/ Design Process of Minori

Since the story setting is combination of traditional and modern background, so my study is mainly on traditional outfit. I tried different combinations of Samurai/Ninja clothes, cloak, and other Japanese clothes that related to Minori setting. The very first part is me brainstorming different clothes. Then from all the brainstorming result, I chose few and make them into 4 pre-final design.
I also developed her facial expression and her weapon which is a katana.
The character poses were referred to parkour movement, and some movie that the character were grown up in forest, such as Tarzan and The Jungle Book.
