I like your composition. I don't know what to do with it but I like it.
Well, actually I thought about what the heck is the illusion here and where is it broken? Maybe it has something to do with the illusion of depth, that the elements all seem to have a definite order and float one over another. But actually they are just "embedded" in the surface of the canvas, right? The illusion of separation which, even in the real world, only exists in our heads? But I'm sure you mean something different, right?
Or maybe it is desillusional that I make my head up about a meaning behind it while there is none actually?

*sniff* I'm sorry to break it to you... and I'm not sure I should even be saying this.... but as I see you've been breaking your head over this, I thought I'd best tell you... there isn't any meaning behind the name :/ (Or really the painting for that matter) I made it up after I painted the picture. I guess I sort of chose it because of the objects and how they were placed, it kind of made it dream-like and illusion-like and abstract. And the way they were broken up and spaced made it seem more disillusional than illusional... also it sounded better
Sorry, I'm just not at that stage where I actually put so much feeling and meaning to my art

But thanks for taking the time to try and figure it out. It's very flattering

well, no problem. I thought about that possibility but I find it kind of exciting to search into the depths of the unconscious meaning.
I also have many pictures that are not conceptional but rather came out of my pencil without a thought in the process. But when the picture is done I almost always find something in them, just as if my subconsciousnes is trying to tell me something. If I then look close at the picture somehow the pieces fit together magically as if it was intended. And often these are the most exciting pictures I make...
Maybe when you think about a subject and are open enough for these subconscious sparks, they'd make up the best ideas. But it's still hard for me to let go.

I do not see the problem or is it you who created the work you can give it any name you want. Even invent one. Who cares just words or not! I love your painting and also its name!
