I can understand the fear of getting on the scale and feeling that sinking sensation in your gut when the numbers show up high.

i like this shot an idea a lot. only thing hat could make it stronger is more contrast because it has an all over sort of gray tone to it. and you're not fat!

i love the artistic part of this picture girli, but then when i look at the deep issue it kinda saddens and scares me, that america has such a stigma about what girls should look like that millions of girls in america and part of the world are probably sitting in that very spot doing that very thing.. but the artwork is beautiful. and i agree with the other guy, scales are just numbers and they cant tell you the true beauty of yourself neither can mirrors. they are meant to aid but can distort the true beauty everyone else sees and loves

believe me I understand. For so long I couldn't wrap my mind around who I was without my weight. that i was what I ate and didn't and it's people like you who helped me past that.

It's really good, I immediately knew what it was about when I saw the picture.
But, however, there's nothing I see in this picture that should give you this feeling... And scales give numbers, they don't tell you what you look like and how you should feel about yourself. Numbers, nothing more.

and I appreciate it. I mean its been 3 years since i took this pic, but i still feel the same sometimes, but i have battled and won battles and lost others. it's just a process that is ingrated in our unconcious.
