Description
This is a VERY rough sketch idea for the storm (lightning) dragons so there's a lot of shorthand in this to just convey basic shape ideas. I've decided all of the dragons in Omnia will be based loosely on dinosaurs which means I have to watch more Prehistoric Planet (Oh what a tragedy). I liked the tapered head shape of the Qianzhousaurus which is this guy. I'm not sure I'm sold on the spines and horns, but I love the pattern and color. I do intend to make these dragons come in a range of saturated golds to more muted almost grey gold shades since I like giving my dragons color ranges. I also decided for this species instead of having four finger that make up the wing they only have three. The fourth finger stayed up by the thumb giving them two digest that are able to grasp objects. Also bare with me as I try to bear how to draw non-pawed feet and wings.
