But let's say that Devika was scared that if Alastor fought Vox, she tought he'd die. And she thought that Crimson would be more happier and safer with Alastor due to his reputation and power.
While Devika sacrifices herself in order to save her family, and the Eggboi gifted to her by Sir Pentious. After she knows everyone is well, she'll try and end Vox's life, then go back to Alastor and tell him everything.
