Hamlet is a winged pig and even though he's a pretty shy boy he reunited all his guts and took fly during the new year fireworks display, wearing only his swimming trunks, to wish you a Happy New Year.

2019 is the zodiac year of the pig!

This is my last drawing of 2018, and because of that, it has some peculiarities: It's the first time I fully draw a character from the feet to the head, usually, I never have space for the feet ;
Also I did some clunky shading, I learnt shading yesterday with a tutorial on youtube, but during the whole making I had no idea of what I was doing; 😂
Lastly, it's the first time I make a background myself, the result is not what I had in mind, maybe next year I'm going to train drawing landscapes more.

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this piece, I love his looks, I spent three days thinking of what I would do for the New Year and in a hot evening he came to my mind and I immediately started working on him.
